Uprock and Invigorate

Heya folks! First off, a GREAT announcement from the CJAM execs:
CJAM has been granted PROTECTED STATUS from the CRTC at 99.1FM! We're officially a Class A Radio Station. That means, in the near(?) future, we'll be taking over the 99.1 frequency on the FM dial. That ALSO means that we'll be able to reach a wider American audience, finally extending our radio contours out to the Ann Arbor area, which almost doubles our listener base. The result will be more recognition for the locally-produced program's on CJAM, whose audience's are sure to grow! And, since the content of Minced Meat is informed by local music, that means more listeners will be hearing the amazing talents coming right out of Windsor/Detroit, which will hopefully turn into more people coming out to live shows and supporting the local music industry. Wow, the potential here is truly exciting! Which reminds me. Why don't you submit some tracks to Minced Meat? Email emilycopeland@hotmail.com or mincedmeat@cjam.ca.

Speaking of exciting, the 2009 Jammy Awards are coming up April 9th! Vote for Minced Meat as Best Special Interest Show on CJAM by clicking here. The show is categorized with the rest of the programs that focus the majority of their content on LOCAL music. Minced Meat is the only show that engages mainly local urban/electronic sounds, so hit that button! Thanks all!!
